Activate: Take It Easy On Yourself

Most of the time I feel pretty brilliant, but sometimes I’m a jerk or I feel like an idiot.

Which is not how Source sees it. Ever.

I know I’m not alone in that, so for those occasions when you’re beating yourself up

… and when your best friend isn’t available to say the soothing things you need to hear in that red hot moment …

… here’s a little self-talk vibration activation script to get back to a helpful state of mind:

Look, it’s gonna be okay. Sometimes this happens. It’s not the end of the world. Do you really think you’re supposed to get it 100% perfect 100% of the time? No, that is not the idea. That was never the plan or the expectation. Worth remembering.

The idea is that you do the best you can with what you’ve got. Are you doing that? Right, give yourself some credit for that. And chill out. It’s gonna be okay. You get more things right than you get wrong, so there’s that, too.

And plus, who’s to say this was a mistake, anyway? Maybe it’s perfect … you know, one of those blessings in disguise. You don’t know! Just take it easy on yourself. You’re making a bigger deal about this than is helpful.

You had (and continue to have) good intentions, and that’s what matters.

So let the good vibes flow knowing that you’re human and you’re getting better at this whole game of life thing every day. Relax, girl, it’s gonna be okay.

Are you feeling better yet? Read it again if you have to.

If these particular words don’t land for you, then just imagine what you would say to your best friend who feels like she just did a major screwup. Whatever soothing things you’d say to him/her, give yourself the same gift of those better feeling thoughts.

    That’s a great post. I’ve had a few things come up recently (actually pretty minor stuff) but it was really getting to me (preoccupying my thoughts) but then I realized it’s just contrast–and with contrast there is movement and change–which is what I want! It always leads to better things.

    You don’t have to get to work and drag the things of your vortex to your reality. You just have to become a MATCH to those solutions. You can start by being GENERAL.Frankly, that is the only place you can start, as evident from your comment. The most general of things is your desire to feel good. Just tune in to these general feelings and don’t try to solve any problems now. Remember, the path comes to you. You just become a match to it and you can get a hint of what path is unfolding by the way you FEEL. Slowly, your grid (Abraham’s terminology) will start filling in. Ideas, rendezvous etc., will happen. Your work is ONLY to start feeling good and then follow any impulse (it will feel like something you would WANT to do). As for now, just try to feel as good as you can, or if good is not possible, a step BETTER than you can…

      Hi Prasanna,
      Your message is really encouraging, but I don’t trust that if I do what feels good, that I will get the things I’ve been dreaming of. Because what feels good to do has nothing to do with them. I’m sick of doing so much (mentally and physically). I’m sick of taking action towards my dreams. The process has become hellish and I’ve lost motivation. I still feel insanely jealous when I see others with what I want, but I’m sick of taking action towards it. I would rather not get it than keep working towards it and feeling so stressed and obsessive. I felt relief when I decided to give up on my dream. It’s never going to happen so why keep false hope?

        See, the thing i, you are already jumping to the DOING part of the process. Right now, your dominant vibrational stance is ‘nothing is working out, i will never get it’ and so on. Any action taken from this point of attraction will give similar results, it cannot compensate for this mis-aligned vibration. Motivation is trying to make yourself do it, from the awareness of what would happen when you don’t want the opposite of it. Just go general and start feeling better, soothe yourself and improve your vibrational point of attraction without the ulterior motive of making anything happen this minute. Do it for a month or more at least, where you don’t focus on any of the subjects that is making you feel frustrated and do your best to just feel good. When you are a little more stable in your vibration, other inspiration will come. Or, you can start getting a little more specific. It is an emotional journey always and all about how you FEEL whether you are doing anything or not. Inspiration to act will come and the action will just CONTINUE the vibration (in this case, the vibration of the wanted, if you practise it). Hope this helps. All the best.. 🙂

    This is a great reminder. I have been feeling so trapped in a situation I find myself in nearly a year and a half later. I hate my life and often don’t think I’ll get out of here alive. I’ve taken conventional action as well as the feel good and be inspired route…still I’m here and hate it. I don’t have any hope left. I know through contrast I’ve put so much into my vortex, but a lot of it involves things that cannot be changed this lifetime. So I wait for the next. I hope I’m reborn with everything I have asked for up to now.

    Thanks, this was just perfect.. listening to a lot of Abraham stuff these days along with following my favourite blogs (obviously this being one)and I really need this advice, to chill and rela, as I want to make it the best ALL the time, which creates pressur, specially when the majority of things are going good. It’s allokay.. contrast helps..

    Thank YOU! That is just what I needed to hear this morning. I think I’m quite good at saying this to my friends, but not so good at saying it to myself. I’m going to bookmark this one to come back to when I need to hear something to bring back the ease to something I’m convinced is a struggle.

    Recently…almost everything that has been coming from GVB or GVA has resonated deeply with me…and this is no exception.
    Thank you for your beautiful words and the reminder to know that it’s okay to just be me and enjoy the highs when I feel I’ve done everything right and it’s flowing with ease and also when I feel I could have done better and am beating myself up for it.
